Communications is a look at public speaking and communication techniques for pastors, teachers, and those who desire to serve in one or both of these capacities. Part of the class will focus on sermon delivery, and part will focus on classroom teaching

Read both required texts. Write a one-page synopsis for each book. Briefly indicate if the book has given you new insight for your ministry.

Teacher

Richard Goad pastors River of Life Church in NW Oklahoma City with his wife, Linda.  They have been at River of Life since 2002, following ten years of service as the Heartland Conference Discipleship Ministries Director.  Pastor Goad has been greatly involved in Missions, having led more than twenty mission trips.  He also served the IPHC as National Talent Director for nine years.  He and Linda have three children and five grandchildren.
